Who

Coachlink is a product of Appfabriek, a trade name of B.V. Geert (Chamber of Commerce 99122235, Vijverlaan 33, 7553 CC Hengelo, NL). Contact: support@appfabriek.com.

Who is responsible

Appfabriek is responsible for your own account (name, email address, profile photo, signing in). The coach is responsible for what they record about and exchange with coachees, such as messages, notes, photos and appointments. Appfabriek processes that data on the coach's behalf, under the data processing agreement. Ask your coach first about that data.

What we store

• Name and an optional profile photo
• Email address, only to restore your access
• Practice name (coach)
• Messages, notes and photos you send in the app
• Appointments and availability, if you plan them in the app
• A device token for notifications
• Passkey: only the public key

In the app we collect no location, no advertising IDs and no usage analytics. Voice and video calls are end-to-end encrypted and run through our own server; we record nothing.

What for

To enable the conversation between coach and coachee and to send notifications. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Not for tracking or advertising. No sale of data.

Where and with whom

• Your data is stored on our server at Hetzner in Germany, within the EU.
• We deliver notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and, for the ring of a call on iPhone, through Apple. A notification about a new message holds no content and no name; messages, photos and reactions are end-to-end encrypted, and only the devices of coach and coachee hold the keys.
• Emails to restore your access are sent through Google.
• Google and Apple are US companies; what goes to them is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data as long as your account exists. You delete your account yourself in the app. If that does not work, email support@appfabriek.com; we then delete it within 30 days. We make an encrypted backup every day, also at Hetzner in Germany; copies in it disappear after 15 days.

This website

We count visits to coachl.ink without cookies and without linking them to an account. For each visit we keep, for 180 days, a shortened IP address (last part set to zero), the place it belongs to, browser, device type and the pages visited. We determine that place on our own server; no IP addresses leave it. The website only sets a functional session cookie, no tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object. Email us. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
